A shredder is a machine consisting of a shredding blade assembly, a carrying housing, housing brackets, a feeding system, a power system, and an electrical control system. It is primarily used for shredding thin and light metals of certain strength to increase their stacking density for easier transportation and recycling. Shreddable items include metal drums, refrigerators, cars, scrap steel, steel furniture, and more.
Working Principle
Material enters the shredder chamber through the feeding system, where the chamber is equipped with shredding blades. The material is shredded, compressed, and sheared by the blades, resulting in small pieces of shredded material, which are then discharged from the bottom of the chamber.
