Principle of Operation for Round Disc Granulator
A variety of dry powder materials are added to the top of the equipment, where they undergo degassing, spiral pre-compression, and are then conveyed to the arc-shaped slots of the two roller rolls. The two rolls rotate at the same speed in opposite directions, gripping the material into the slots and compressing it forcibly. After passing through the compression zone, the pressure on the material gradually decreases, allowing it to naturally脱离 due to surface tension and gravity. The material then enters the granulator and the整形 machine for crushing and trimming, before being fed into a vibrating screen for sorting. Qualified products are conveyed to the finished product warehouse or directly packaged. Fine powdery materials falling through the screen are returned to the raw material warehouse through a recycling unit for secondary roller compaction. The magnitude of the extrusion pressure can be adjusted according to the particle strength requirements by the hydraulic system. By altering the roller slot pattern, materials in the form of sheets, strips, olives, and flat spheres can be obtained.
