Working Principle

The distillation tower operates on the principle of utilizing the different volatility characteristics of its components to achieve separation. The bottom of the tower contains liquid, while the top yields gas distillate.

The primary function is to separate mixed liquids by utilizing the principle that different liquids have different properties under varying conditions, such as different temperatures and volatilities (boiling points), thereby achieving purification.
