Smoke and fire dampers are used on the pipes of the smoke extraction system or at the intake of smoke extraction fans, remaining closed during normal operation. In the event of a fire, the dampers are manually or automatically opened via a fire alarm signal, coordinating with the system to extract smoke. They automatically close when the smoke temperature inside the pipes reaches 280℃, and can maintain fire resistance and integrity for a certain period of time, serving as a barrier against smoke and fire.
Features
1. Butterfly Smoke and Fire Damper
(1) Normally in an open position, the valve remains open during a fire.
(2) Upon reaching a pipe temperature of 280°C, the fuse trips, and the valve automatically closes.
(3) Output valve closes, interlock exhaust fan stops.
(4) Manual shut-off, manual start-up;
2. Normally Closed Smoke and Fire Damper
normally closed smoke and fire damper, also known as a secondary-actuated smoke and fire damper
(1) Normally in a closed state, upon a fire occurrence, the valve is swiftly opened by inputting DC24V power from the control center.
(2) Output the valve opening signal to interlock control the fire smoke exhaust fan.
(3) Manual activation, manual reset to off;
(4) Upon reaching a pipe temperature of 280°C, the fuse trips and the valve is re-closed.
3. Remote Control Smoke and Fire Damper (Cable Control Type):
(1) Features all the functions of a normally closed smoke exhaust fire damper.
(2) Can be manually activated from a distance and manually reset to the closed position;
(3) Standard steel rope control distance is 6m (extra lengths available upon request);
4. Automatic Reset Smoke and Fire Dampers
(1) Normally in a closed state, upon a fire occurrence, the valve automatically opens as the control center inputs a DC24V power supply.
(2) When the pipeline temperature reaches 280°C, the fuse trips and the valve closes automatically.
(3) Can be manually activated
(4) After the valve is opened, there is no need for manual reset. Simply input a DC24V power supply, and the valve will automatically reset to its original closed position.
(5) Output the valve opening signal to interlock control the smoke exhaust fan's start and stop.
