Power distribution panels, commonly referred to as the control center for electric motors.
In layman's terms, a distribution cabinet is a cabinet that integrates electrical components for power distribution. The function of a distribution cabinet is to distribute and control power to electrical equipment, and it can also provide power-off protection in case of circuit overloads, short circuits, or leaks.
Distribution boxes, although commonly used for residential and educational facilities' power distribution control, are typically smaller in size and can be discreetly installed within walls. As a result, they are rarely seen in everyday life. Distribution boxes are more commonly found in industrial settings, such as factories and workshops, including lighting and power distribution boxes, among others.

Cabinet classification for power distribution
Power distribution panels are segmented into different tiers when used in large-scale power supply systems for better distribution control.
Generally, there are primary, secondary, and low-level systems within the power supply system, these three levels of distribution equipment.
Primary distribution panels are the power distribution centers of the power supply system, which are installed in substation facilities and are responsible for distributing electrical power to secondary distribution panels. The functional requirements of primary distribution panels necessitate higher electrical parameters, hence their structure is more complex and their output circuit capacity is larger.
The secondary distribution box receives electrical power from the primary distribution box and distributes it to nearby loads. The secondary distribution box is divided into power distribution boxes and motor control centers. They are used in opposite locations; power distribution boxes are applied in areas with fewer circuits and scattered loads, while motor control centers are used in areas with more circuits and concentrated loads.
Low-grade distribution panels include lighting and power distribution panels, which are less concentrated in layout and have smaller capacities. They are responsible for controlling the distribution of low-grade loads.
Purpose of electrical distribution box
A switchgear cabinet is a complete set of switchgear and control equipment, serving as a power center and main distribution device. Primarily used for controlling, monitoring, measuring, and protecting power lines and major electrical equipment. Commonly installed in substation, power distribution rooms, and similar locations.
Easy to manage and beneficial for maintenance when circuit failures occur.
Power distribution boxes, switchboards, control panels, and metering stations are complete sets of equipment for centrally installing switches, meters, and other devices.
Common distribution boxes come in wooden and metal plate varieties, but with the increasing electricity consumption everywhere, metal ones are more commonly used.
Convenient for power on/off, serving as a metering and judgment function for power on/off.
The components of a power distribution cabinet are mainly divided into two parts.
Firstly, complete kits, including the electrical distribution box housing and its related accessories.
Secondly, electrical components and related accessories, namely circuit breakers and their necessary attachments.

The cabinet is composed of the following components:
Circuit Breaker
The switch is a key component of the distribution box, commonly including air switches, leakage switches, and dual-power automatic transfer switches.
1. Air Circuit Breakers: These devices serve to connect, disconnect, and carry the rated working current and fault currents such as short-circuit and overload in electrical circuits. They can quickly disconnect the circuit in situations of overcurrent, short-circuit, under-voltage, and other conditions, providing reliable protection.
2. Leaking Protection Switch: Equipped with leakage protection, it trips when a person touches a live body, ensuring personal safety and being the primary function of a leakage protector.
3. Dual Power Supply Automatic Transfer Switch: The dual power supply automatic transfer switch provides an automatic selection and switching system between two power sources. In the event of a fault on one line, the switch automatically transfers to the other power source.
Surge Protection Device
Also known as a lightning arrester, it is an electronic device that provides safety protection for various electronic equipment, instruments, and communication lines.
Surge protectors can short-circuit and divert excess current or voltage in electrical circuits or communication lines caused by external interference, thereby preventing surge damage to other equipment within the circuit.
Cable labeling inside the electrical distribution cabinet
Cable routing in the distribution panel is intricate, with each cable connecting to different component units, serving various functions. Installers and maintenance staff cannot possibly memorize all the equipment and cables. To facilitate installation and inspection, it is necessary to label each cable.
Currently, cable identification is generally done using a cable numbering machine.

1. Enter the desired serial number content on the keyboard of the online serial number printer or on the computer.
2. Then, print the serial numbers on the PVC serial number identification tubes using a serial number printer.
3. Cut to the required length.
4. Meanwhile, another process cuts the cables to the required lengths for backup.
5. After the above two processes, manually string the printed PVC wire number identification tubes onto the cut ends of the cables, then crimp terminals or directly install them into the machine.
6. This process method is labor-intensive and time-consuming, resulting in low production efficiency.
New technology and processes are now available to replace PVC cable marking tubes.
"Fully Automatic Computer Spray Coding and Stripping Machine," utilizing new patented technology and processes, enables direct printing of cable identification content onto wire and cable. The machine completes spray coding, stripping, and cutting in one automated process. It completely replaces PVC cable identification tubes, improving environmental standards while enhancing production efficiency, reducing material costs, and significantly increasing the reliability of cable identification.
Maintaining the original numbering machine's advantages, it addresses its shortcomings by forgoing PVC conduit and directly printing on the wire and cable. This saves labor while significantly boosting productivity, achieving triple benefits with one move.
Reduced the time for electrical cabinet inspections, enhancing efficiency and contributing to power supply safety.
