Stainless steel ripple must be handcrafted and forged. It is a rare handcrafted sculpture masterpiece. The production cycle is also extended due to the complexity and precision of the manufacturing process. Therefore, it is necessary to manufacture these stainless steel wave sculptures. All specifications, dimensions, and blueprints for the sculpture must be confirmed in advance.

Stainless steel materials are typically in sheet form, available in various thickness specifications. The sculptural processing forms of sheet materials mainly include forging techniques and welding.Through external force, the plate is forged into blocks, shaping the corresponding form.Weld multiple panels into a single shapeAfter polishing and buffing, the mirror-polished stainless steel sculpture is complete.

Stainless steel materials are typically sheets, available in various thicknesses and specifications. The sculpting process for sheets mainly involves forging and welding techniques. The sheets are forged into shape by applying external force, then multiple sheets are welded together. After polishing and buffing, a mirror-like finish for the stainless steel sculpture is achieved. Another technique is stainless steel casting, which is similar to bronze casting. Once cast, the surface can be polished to create a mirror finish for the stainless steel sculpture.
The surface finish of stainless steel can be crafted into a sandblasted effect or a mirror-like stainless steel sculpture by varying the degree of polishing. While it cannot be heat-colored into multiple colors like copper, modern techniques can electroplate it into various color finishes. The renowned American artist Jeff Koons is known for electroplating mirror-like stainless steel into a range of vibrant colors (as shown in the following image). Additionally, a painted finish can be achieved through spraying. Most stainless steel sculpture manufacturers highlight the mirror-like properties of the material by polishing the finished stainless steel forms, allowing them to reflect surrounding objects and blend into the environment.

Stainless steel ripple sculptures are also known as mirror wave sculptures. It is a special phenomenon caused by the impact or collision of currents against each other or against the shore.Capture the dynamic splashes of waves in a static form, featuring an aesthetically pleasing, bright, and generous design styleIt captures the beauty of the spray, symbolizing purity.Symbolizes warmth, it is one of the mainstream landscape sculptures today.

Manufacturing ProcessProduction Process
3D Modeling
Once production is confirmed, review the 3D product model to assess the overall appearance and identify any areas requiring modification. This model can directly showcase the final product's proportions and style. Communicate with the client after the initial modeling to discuss any necessary changes, and continue to revise until the client is satisfied.
Print 3D Prototypes
Upon confirmation of the 3D modeling effect, a 3D prototype will be printed to show the client the actual product in a smaller scale. Subsequently, a 1:1 foam model will be produced, and the 1:1 foam modeler will forge and hammer stainless steel to number and section the product on the foam.
3. Stainless Steel Material Forging
Place the stainless steel sheet on the mold, strike it on the spot, and unload it according to the different shapes of the mold parts, striking intentionally with awareness of its undulations. Bend it as you strike, and you can strike against any tangible, solid object. Then, compare the struck stainless steel sheet with the mold; if the shape is correct, it can close completely with the model. Next, weld the struck stainless steel sheet from top to bottom, ensuring each connected panel is adjusted against the mold and must be forged simultaneously with the shaping. Forging points can also be made before cutting the material. When forging the points, use the round head of the hammer evenly and regularly in a row, with the same width, spacing, and force.
Welding Formation:
Welding, sandblasting, and painting. Once the forging shape is correct, welding is performed according to the job requirements (either electric or TIG welding). After welding and sandblasting, the flatness and smoothness of the焊接 areas need to be adjusted. Only after achieving a smooth and even surface can the next workflow proceed.
5. Surface Painting/Glossing
Stainless steel polishing begins with sanding wheels to smooth out welds and parts, followed by polishing with soft sanding wheels (cloth wheels). During polishing, apply polishing compound for lubrication to achieve a brighter finish, enhancing the visual appeal. Next, paint as required or proceed to the polishing process, and conduct a visual inspection for defects such as leaks in the weld, insufficient weld penetration, uneven weld point depth, excessive deviation from the seam, localized dents, uneven joints, deep scratches, abrasions, or severe deformation that cannot be corrected during this process. If any of these defects are present, the item should be sent back to the previous stage. If no defects are found, proceed with the polishing operation. Polishing and finishing of stainless steel sculptures requires three steps: coarse grinding, semi-finishing, and finishing.
6. After-Sales Installation
Generally, it is welded for added durability, meaning the skeletal structure of the sculpture itself is welded to the embedded iron in the base. Welded structural steel is then placed below the embedded iron, with the length of the steel and the size of the embedded iron determined based on the sculpture's dimensions. For aesthetic purposes, after the sculpture design is completed, the base is then covered with marble or grass in the landscaping area.
