Heart-shaped directional capacitor microphone AT8031
A versatile condenser microphone suitable for interviews, speeches, broadcasting, and general audio recording applications.
Heart-shaped directional microphone, reducing noise from the sides to the back, improving sound source reception quality.
An 80Hz high-pass filter switch is included to effectively reduce low-frequency noise in the environment.
Large wind protection hood, reduces jet and tooth noise distortion.
Can be powered by battery or phantom power.
The AT8031 offers high-sensitivity audio reception, ensuring the ability to capture larger sound sources. In some cases, to prevent distortion due to overloading the input, a level attenuator such as the AT8202 should be inserted between the microphone and the preamplifier.
The microphone meets RoHS specifications and is constructed without hazardous substances banned by the EU.
The AT8031 microphone requires operation with 11V to 52V phantom power or 1.5V AA batteries, and no battery needs to be installed when using phantom power.
The XLRM output of the microphone provides a low-impedance balanced output. The microphone audio signal is output through the 2nd and 3rd pins of the XLR male connector, while the 1st pin is connected to ground (shield). The output phase will be set at a positive phase level on the 2nd pin.
Built-in Qualcomm filter circuit, easily switch from flat frequency response to a reception effect with attenuation below 80Hz, applying a high-pass filter can reduce low-frequency noise in the reception environment (such as outside car engine sounds, air conditioner system wind noise, etc.), as well as room echo and mechanical vibration sounds.
