NB2891 Introduction to Turkish CGS Certification and CE Certification

Mechanical CE Certification (MD Directive)
Machinery CE certification requires compliance with the EU's Machinery Directive (MD), which stands for Machinery Directive. The EU's early Machinery Directive was implemented starting in 1995. According to the requirements of the EU Machinery Directive, all machinery used within the European Union, regardless of whether it is manufactured within EU countries or imported from foreign countries for sale in the EU, must undergo CE certification according to EU technical regulations and affix the CE mark symbolizing safety on the machinery itself to prove compliance with the relevant directives. The current Machinery Directive, 2006/42/EC, has been in effect since December 29, 2009.
