The China Quality Certification Center (CQC) is a national certification body approved by the Central Organization Apparatus Commission and established by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection, and Quarantine, under the management of the National Accreditation Commission. It is the earliest, largest, and most authoritative certification body in China for quality certification, having accumulated extensive international experience in quality certification over the decades. Its various businesses have yielded outstanding results, with the number of certified clients ranking first among national certification bodies and among the leading global certification bodies.
CQC's product certification services mainly include mandatory national product certification, CQC mark certification, and national voluntary product certification programs such as Good Agricultural Practices certification and Organic Product certification. CQC is also an authorized third-party certification body for energy-saving, water-saving ("Energy-Saving" mark), and environmental protection product certifications. Products listed in the "Directory of Products Subject to Mandatory Product Certification" encompass household appliances, vehicles, safety glass, medical devices, cables, toys, and more.
The CQC certification we commonly refer to is the Environmental Protection Product Certification, with the specific rules for furniture being the CQC51-381001-2018 "Furniture Environmental Protection Certification Rules."
Regarding matters related to CQC certification for furniture:
* Solid wood or wood veneer painted furniture, or melamine-finished furniture produced by the company, falls under the wood furniture category when applying for the CQC China Environmental Protection Product Certification. The wood furniture units are divided based on the product use of the furniture.
*Our company's pure metal or steel-wood furniture is classified as the metal furniture series when applying for the CQC China Environmental Protection Product Certification. The unit division of metal furniture is based on the product use of the furniture.
Furniture companies applying for CQC certification should prepare the following materials:
