Introduction to TELEC Certification in Japan

Wireless products entering the Japanese market require model approval from JAPAN PANTHELECOM (primarily for the RF section). Currently, Shenzhen Osmosis Laboratory can complete such testing and certification. The Telec certification process involves submitting documents and a brief introduction to the WLAN and Bluetooth testing and certification is as follows:
Telec is a mandatory certification for wireless products in Japan, adhering to Japan's Radio Law. The specific testing specifications follow the MIC (Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan) Notice No. 88 regulations. The Telec certification standard for 2.4G products is: Article 2, Section 1, No. 19.
Japan Telec Certification Application Process
(1) Customer: Submit application form to the lab, prepare samples, sign the contract, and make the advance payment.
(2) Lexin Testing Laboratory: Conduct tests and issue reports, preliminary review of documents, timeline: 2 weeks.
(3) Japan Authorized Issuing Body: Final review, draft issuance, certification, customer pays final payment. Time: 1-2 weeks.
