What is FCC-ID Certification:
The FCC certification, officially known as the Federal Communications Commission, was established in 1934 under the Communications Act and is an independent U.S. government agency directly accountable to Congress. The FCC coordinates domestic and international communications by regulating radio broadcasting, telecommunications, and cables. It encompasses over 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, and territories to ensure the safety of radio and wire communication products related to life and property. The FCC certification is divided into two types: FCC-SDOC (for wired products) and FCC-id (for wireless products).
II. The following documents are required for obtaining the FCC-ID certification:
1. Product Manual
2. Product circuit diagram
3. FCC Authorization Letter
4. Product User Manual
5. Product Labels
Section 3: FCC-ID Certification Fee:
Wireless products, such as Bluetooth headphones, Bluetooth devices, Bluetooth speakers, etc.
If your company is registering for the first time for a FCC ID, the application fee will be an additional $500.

IV. FCC-ID Certification Cycle:
The FCC certification process takes 3-4 weeks.
