The Tubular Distributor is composed of an inlet liquid level pipe, a liquid distribution pipe, and a liquid distribution pipe to form a closed liquid distributor. The inlet is funnel-shaped, equipped with a filter made of metal wire mesh to prevent solid impurities from entering the liquid distributor. The level pipe and liquid distribution pipe can be made of round tubes or square tubes.
Pipe-type DistributorThe advantage is that the liquid will not splash out when the tower is subjected to wind load vibrations, and the liquid level in the level gauge is relatively high (generally not less than 50mm), so installation level errors will not significantly affect the liquid leakage from the small holes, thus achieving a high distribution quality. Due to the directional nature of the distribution point density (i.e., the spacing between the small holes at the bottom of the liquid distribution holes can be very small, while the distance between the liquid distribution tubes cannot be too small), it is particularly suitable for use with plate-shaped structured packing. This type of distributor is commonly used in packed towers with medium to low liquid loads and without pollutants entering, often serving as a tower top reflux liquid distributor. In vacuum distillation and wire mesh corrugated packing towers, due to the low liquid load, it is frequently applied.
Our company produces pipe-type liquid distributors. The positioning and installation: As the pipe-type distributor is used in conjunction with the packed tower, it is fixed on the bed plate of the packed material with clamps or fasteners. Due to the non-geometrically uniform distribution of small holes on the distributor, the relative positions of the distributor's liquid distribution pipes, the bed plate, and the corrugated plates of the first tray of packing material need to be arranged reasonably. That is, the bed plate is tightened to each piece of packing material to prevent loosening and to ensure the rational distribution of the liquid through the distribution pipes. This must be considered simultaneously during design. Generally, the liquid distribution pipes are installed vertically to the packing material, but sometimes rotating them 45 degrees is more reasonable. The distance of the liquid distribution pipes from the top of the packing material is determined based on the specific situation, usually around 50mm.
