DJI AirportM3D Drone Installation and Deployment Steps
1. Site Survey and Selection
• Power Supply: Stable Power Supply (1000W)
• Network: Up/downlink bandwidth greater than 10Mbps
• Image Transmission: No significant obstructions around
• Rapid Survey: The aircraft supports rapid survey, with the fastest completion time being 6 minutes for site shading and satellite quality exploration
2. Civil Construction
• Base Construction: Concrete Base, Metal Base
• Electrical and Network Connection: PVC pipe or galvanized steel pipe laying, buried underground
• Airport Grounding: The grounding resistance must be less than 10 ohms.
• Additional Facilities: Fencing, Third-Party Monitoring Equipment
3. Equipment Installation
• Equipment Transportation: Airport weight 34kg, reduces transportation difficulty
• Equipment Mounting: Drilling holes using an impact drill and installing expansion bolts
• Connector: DJI Airport 2 utilizes new waterproof connectors; network and electrical wires are connected from the side of the airport. It is recommended to use a drip bend to prevent a small amount of water leakage into the galvanized steel pipe.
4. App Deployment
• Deployment: Set up networks, emergency landing sites, and position calibration using the DJI RC Pro industrial remote controller.
• Shared RTK: DJI Airport 2 offers a shared RTK account, eliminating the need to purchase additional RTK services for airport calibration (China Mobile's RTK service).
• Flight Test: After deployment, a simulated flight test using the Sky2 is required to ensure the success of the airport deployment.
Eco-open — Third-party load meets diverse needs
The aircraft is equipped with E-Port and E-Port Lite interfaces, supporting connection to third-party loads such as megaphones, searchlights, etc.
• Standard 2 / Cloud API supports remote control of third-party loads on the web page.
• Supporting parachute as the DI-2 load on top of third-party load installation, effectively ensuring the safety of the aircraft and personnel.
