The EPOCH 6LT flaw detector is an ideal instrument for highly portable inspection applications, helping technicians complete work quickly and efficiently in a comfortable operating state.
Ultra-portable design
The instrument weighs only 890 grams, with its weight distribution determined by the grip direction, significantly reducing wrist fatigue during one-handed operation.
The flying shuttle knob and simple button design allow operators to easily control the instrument even with gloves on.
A bright and clear screen provides excellent readability in most lighting conditions.
The design meets IP65/67 rating standards and has passed the drop test.
The user interface has been optimized for one-handed operation. Use the context menu to adjust parameters in full-screen A scan mode; utilize the quick call feature to conveniently load stored settings and quickly switch the application.
Upon completion of the inspection, the EPOCH 6LT flaw detector offers convenient data management. Reports and data files in various formats can be exported from the instrument to the Olympus Scientific Cloud via a removable USB storage device or optional wireless local area network. The data management features of the instrument include:

In-service PipelineApplication for inspection
The EPOCH 6LT flaw detector is lightweight and ergonomically designed, making it an ideal instrument for inspecting in-service pipelines. It's equipped with defect quantification software, such as the dynamic DAC/TCG and DGS/AVG functions for detecting welds and quantifying cracks, as well as optional corrosion software that accurately and effectively completes pipeline corrosion inspections.
