The installation requirements for distribution boards (cabinets) are as follows: Distribution boards (cabinets) should be made of non-combustible materials; In production sites and offices with low risk of electric shock, open-type distribution boards can be installed; In workshops with high risk of electric shock or poor working environments such as processing, casting, forging, heat treatment, boiler rooms, woodworking shops, etc., enclosed cabinets should be installed; In hazardous work areas with conductive dust or flammable and explosive gases, electrical equipment with sealed or explosion-proof types must be installed; The electrical components, instruments, switches, and wiring of the distribution board (cabinet) should be arranged neatly, installed securely, and easy to operate. The bottom surface of the floor-mounted board (cabinet) should be 5~10 mm above the ground; The center height of the operating handle is generally 1.2~1.5m; There should be no obstructions within a range of 0.8~1.2m in front of the board (cabinet); The protective line connection should be reliable; No exposed live conductors outside the board (cabinet); Electrical components installed on the outer surface of the board (cabinet) or on the distribution board must have reliable shielding.
