During the assembly of the PP fan housing, align the housing position with the rotor shaft centerline and adjust the axial and radial gaps between the impeller inlet and the housing inlet to the range specified in the equipment technical documents at high speed. Simultaneously, check if the foot bolts are tightened. If the technical documents do not specify the gap values, the general axial gap should be 1/100 of the impeller outer diameter, and the radial gap should be evenly distributed, with a value of 1.5/1000 to 3/1000 of the impeller outer diameter (for smaller outer diameters, use the larger value). Aim to minimize the gap values during adjustment to enhance the fan's efficiency.

When selecting PP fans, consider the air leakage loss of the pipeline system, the calculation error, and the negative error of the centrifugal fan's actual air volume and wind pressure. Generally, a safety factor of 1.05 to 1.1 for air volume and 1.10 to 1.15 for wind pressure is adopted. However, avoid using an overly high safety factor to prevent the centrifugal fan from operating in the low efficiency zone for extended periods.
