It features the ability to process longer bar stock, but its drawback is that it occupies a wide horizontal footprint.

The rear feeding CNC lathe is suitable for fully automatic processing of long shafts or heavy-duty products. Products are arranged in a hopper and fed one by one to the lathe spindle by a rear feeding cylinder for fully automatic CNC processing. When changing product specifications, replace the collet and the core tube at the rear feeding position, then adjust the hopper length and other parameters, and re-tool for processing.

The fully automatic CNC lathe with post-feeding allows one operator to manage multiple machines, and it has low requirements for workers. No need to assign a skilled lathe operator to each machine; a regular worker is sufficient. They only need to learn basic knife sharpening and arrange the workpieces neatly in the hopper, and the machine will automatically feed and process them. The workers' workload is light, with an average of one person able to oversee 4-10 machines (varies depending on the workpieces), leading to high efficiency and saving on human resources. Typically, the wages of workers for a few months to half a year can offset the initial investment in the post-feeding CNC lathe, significantly reducing production and management costs for many manufacturing companies.
