Linear guideway CNC lathes are commonly used in the machine tool industry for linear modules, which we typically refer to as "linear guides." Linear guides consist of two parts: the slider and the slide block. The slider contains internal recirculating balls or rollers, and the length of the slider can be customized. It is a modular component, a standardized and serialized product line produced by manufacturers, which can be mounted on machines and removed and replaced after wear. A linear guideway machining center is a machining center equipped with rolling guides (or linear guides).
Modern CNC machine tools, in achieving full automation of the entire machine, require hydraulic and pneumatic transmission devices in addition to the CNC system to assist in the automatic operation function of the entire machine. The hydraulic and pneumatic transmission devices used should be structurally compact, operationally reliable, easy to control, and adjustable. Although their working principles are similar, their application scopes differ.
Key Features of Linear Guideway CNC Lathe:
1. Machine tools feature a triad of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic integration, designed ergonomically according to human-machine engineering principles. They offer full-enclosure protection, a compact structure, space-saving, easy operation, and convenient maintenance.
2. The base features an integral high-rigidity cast iron structure, ensuring smooth chip removal and reasonable cutting space.
3. The linear guide has a fast movement speed, low rolling resistance, no creeping, and is easy to lubricate. After long-term use, the precision loss is minimal. Steel-inlaid (some with plastic coating) guides are commonly used under heavy loads. Especially, lubrication is crucial for them. During the processing on a linear guide machining center, the guide experiences rolling friction, point or line contact, with a small contact area and low friction force. It is mainly applied to high-speed machining and the mold industry. It is suitable for machine processing with small cutting volumes and rapid feed rates.
4. The spindle is equipped with high-speed angular contact bearings and precision dynamic balancing, ensuring smooth and stable rotation at high speed, while minimizing thermal deformation.
5. The machine tool features longitudinal and lateral movements powered by AC servo motors directly connected to ball screws, with bearing-supported ball screws ensuring high transmission precision.
6. The machine tool is equipped with a high-performance automatic intermittent lubrication system, which can promptly lubricate the bed guide rails and X/Z axis leadscrews, ensuring that all guide surfaces and longitudinal and transverse leadscrews of the machine tool are always in optimal lubrication condition.
7. The machine tools feature a row-type tool holder, which allows for easy arrangement and adjustment of tools. The tool holder is equipped with an automatic puller, controlled by a CNC system, facilitating online collaboration automation. The tool holder's fault-free operation contributes to enhancing the production efficiency of the machine tool.
8. The clamping of workpieces on the linear rail CNC lathe uses spring-loaded chuck pneumatic clamping, which ensures reliable and efficient clamping.
