The gabion mesh is mechanically woven from high-tensile, ductile low-carbon steel wire or low-carbon steel wire coated with PVC. The box-like structure made from this mesh is known as a gabion box. The diameter of the low-carbon steel wire used, in accordance with ASTM and EN standards, varies based on engineering design requirements, generally ranging from 2.0 to 4.0 mm. The tensile strength of the gabion mesh wire is not less than 38 kg/m², the weight of the metal coating is usually higher than 245 g/m², and the diameter of the edge line of the gabion mesh panels is generally larger than the diameter of the mesh wire. The length of the double twisted section must be no less than 50 mm to ensure that the metal and PVC coatings on the twisted wire are not damaged.
The stone笼 net can be used for slope support, foundation pit support, rock face meshing and shotcreting on mountains, as well as isolation and protection barriers for railways and highways. It can also be made into boxes and mats, used for erosion protection of rivers, embankments, and sea dikes, and for reservoir and river interception with net boxes.
The flexible structure can adapt to the changes in the slope without being damaged, offering greater stability than rigid structures.
2. Strong erosion resistance, capable of withstanding water flow speeds up to 6 m/s.
3. The structure is inherently permeable, demonstrating strong tolerance to the natural actions and filtering of groundwater. Sediments and silt in the water are allowed to settle within the gaps of the filled stones, thereby facilitating the growth of natural vegetation and gradually restoring the original ecological environment.
Partition: Add a partition every meter along the length of the stone笼 net
