Project Name: Samsung Electronics Xi'an Semiconductor Factory Project
Engineering Location: Samsung Electronics Xi'an Semiconductor Factory
Customer Name: Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (Korea)
Control Measures: Ventilation and Soundproofing Louvers (Ventilation Area 60%)
Sound Reduction Effect: ≥20dB(A)
Acoustic Louvers, also known as louvered acoustic windows or louver-type sound absorbers, are a modified version of short-length (0.2~0.6m) louvered or pleated sound absorbers. They are a window structure that allows air flow while reducing noise. Made entirely of metal with special processing techniques, acoustic louvers can be used in any climate condition, featuring low air resistance, high noise reduction, and an aesthetically pleasing appearance. They can also serve as decorative windows, meeting requirements for ventilation, heat dissipation, lighting, protection, and noise control. The typical noise reduction range is 5~15dB, with mid-to-high-frequency characteristics. The noise reduction performance mainly depends on the design of individual louvers, spacing, installation angle, and sound absorption length. Pressure loss is ≤30Pa, with an applicable air flow rate of 1500m3/h~3000m3/h per square meter. Acoustic louvers can be manufactured in single or double layers, with size specifications available in a series of standard sizes. Properly arranged louvers can reduce noise radiation, and micro-porous settings beneath the louvers can absorb noise.
