Leaf colors can vary slightly with the season and the location of management. Our seedlings are laboratory-cultured, pure in variety, with smaller leaves and size due to the fact that epimediums are ornamental leaf plants with relatively large leaves and are broad-leaved. They also prefer dry conditions and dislike waterlogging. Moreover, epimedium roots are shallow, which leads to a large and developed root system. Consequently, the leaves and size should remain small.
