Operating Principle

The WF type integrated air flotation equipment consists of an air flotation tank, an aeration system, an aeration water return pipeline, an aeration water release device, a skimming machine, and an electrical control system.

Aerofloat primarily serves the solid-liquid separation function (while also reducing COD, BOD, and color intensity, etc.). After adding coagulants and flocculants to the raw water and allowing for an effective flocculation reaction period, the raw water enters the combined aerofloat contact zone. Within the contact zone, the microbubbles from the dissolved air water adhere to the flocs in the raw water, then together they enter the separation zone. Under the buoyancy of the bubbles, the flocs rise with the bubbles to the liquid surface, forming a floatable sludge. The floatable sludge is scraped into the sludge zone. The lower clear water flows by gravity into the clear water tank through collection pipes. Part of the clear water is recycled for use in the dissolved air system, while the rest is discharged.

The recycled clear water passes through a jet aeration device, under certain working pressure, allowing air to dissolve into the water to the maximum extent, forming aerated water. In the contact zone of the flotation pond, the aerated water is rapidly depressurized by the release device, creating microbubbles with a diameter of 5-10μm. These microbubbles can then adhere to the flocs in the original water.
