Zibo Blower Factory Co., Ltd.'s mining blower, as a rotating power-generating equipment, may experience wear and tear on its internal parts after prolonged operation. At this point, maintenance becomes a crucial task. However, there are several key requirements that should be followed during operation.

1. The dowel pin positioning is precise.

Three precise locations are crucial for the mining fan, as inaccuracies can affect its operation. The pins in the upper and lower shells and the gear box are generally not replaced during maintenance, so proper installation is key during inspections. However, the process differs for the gear set. When replacing gears, first install and secure the keyed gear, then attach the other, ensuring a good fit with the mating surface before tightening. Rotate the gear to check the tooth contact, and if no issues are found, re-drill and precisely tap the holes before inserting the pins. Then, rotate the machine to inspect the gear contact accuracy. If it's good, there should be no rubbing or collision between the housing and the impeller, or between impellers.

2. The safety valve is flexible, reliable, and effective.

If the ventilation of mine fans is inadequate, the pressure will continuously rise until the motor stalls or the housing is damaged. However, if the safety valve opens naturally at the rated pressure or within the allowable set pressure, these failures can be avoided. Thus, both equipment and personal safety can be ensured.

Ensure the three gaps of the mining fan.

Three gaps refer to the radial gap between the rotor and housing, the gap between rotors, and the gap between the rotor side and the housing wall. Installation and maintenance should be performed according to the relevant specification and model maintenance manual for the Roots blower.

Ensure the unobstructed flow of mine fans and pipelines.

During the fan maintenance period, dusting and inspection of components on the intake duct is required; cleaning out accumulated dust and oil sludge inside the casing must be done; and a check must be conducted to ensure the outlet components and pipes are clear.

5. Belt Pulley Installation

During the installation and alignment of belt pulleys, ensure that the corresponding grooves are on the same plane with an error less than 1.0mm. At the same time, maintain moderate tension on the belts, with equal lengths and consistent force distribution. The tension should be such that pressing the belt with the thumb allows it to move down about 15mm.

Maintenance of mining fans requires technical support, so when a repair is needed, do not attempt to open and inspect the equipment on your own without basic technical knowledge to prevent unnecessary damage to the device.
