Chemical Industry - Explosion-proof Electric Heat Transfer Oil Furnace for Waterproof Coating Reactor

Case Study Introduction:

For waterproof coating production, the customer requires heating and temperature control for 3 10-cubic-meter external jacketed reactors. The required temperature range is 25℃-220℃, with ±1℃ temperature control accuracy. Based on calculations, a 360KW electric heating thermal oil furnace was selected, featuring stepless adjustment for easy power switching. To minimize grid impact, the equipment uses a silicon-controlled rectifier output method for greater stability. The electric heating thermal oil furnace control system employs a Siemens PLC and a touch screen HMI, enabling remote control, data reading, and equipment signal feedback. Cooling is achieved with a 13-square-meter heat exchanger, which can be automatically switched via an electric three-way valve, offering rapid cooling capabilities. To suit the chemical workshop environment, the entire unit is selected in BT4 grade, with a positive pressure explosion-proof cabinet air conditioner to prevent overheating of electrical components and control cabinets, thereby extending service life.
