The hygiene requirements for the epoxy resin or paint used for internal corrosion protection of the valve body should have a corresponding inspection report from the relevant authority. The chemical and physical properties should also meet the relevant requirements. Medium and small bore valves should be tied with straw ropes and transported in containers. Z945X Electric Extended Rod Soft Sealing Gate Valve Operating Mechanism The operation of the soft sealing gate valve should always be closed in a clockwise direction. Due to the frequent manual operation of pneumatic valves in the pipeline, the number of rotations should not be excessive, even for large bore valves, which should be within 200-600 rotations. For easy operation by one person, the torque for opening and closing should be 240N-m under pipeline pressure conditions. The operating end of the soft sealing gate valve should be a square tenon, with standardized dimensions and facing the ground for direct ground-level operation. Valves with handles are not suitable for underground pipelines. Soft Sealing Gate Valve Opening and Closing Degree Indicator ① The opening and closing scale lines of the soft sealing gate valve should be cast on the transmission case cover or the housing of the display panel after the direction is changed, all facing the ground, with the scale lines coated in phosphorescent paint for visibility; ② The material of the indicator needle should be stainless steel plate under good management conditions, otherwise, it should be painted steel plate; do not use aluminum sheet; ③ The indicator needle should be prominent and securely fixed. Once the opening and closing adjustment is accurate, it should be locked with rivets. If the soft sealing gate valve is buried deeply and the operating mechanism and display panel are more than 1.5m from the ground, an extension rod facility should be provided and securely mounted to allow observation and operation from the ground. In other words, the operation of valve opening and closing in the pipeline should not require entering the well.
