Huanggang Glass Façade Thermal Performance Test Report - Four Properties Test

The Huanggang Façade Inspection Center's methods for inspecting existing facades are as follows:
One, For frameless or semi-frameless glass curtain walls, it is recommended to set two aluminum alloy or stainless steel support strips under each glass panel. The length of the support strips should not be less than 100mm, and their thickness should be at least 2mm. The outer end of the support strip is suggested to be 2mm from the outer surface of the glass curtain wall.
 The glass panels of the framed glass curtain wall must not directly contact the components. It is recommended to maintain a certain amount of space between the glass panels and the bottom of the component grooves around the curtain wall. At least two elastic structural positioning blocks, each with a width equal to the groove width and a total length of not less than 100mm, should be placed below each glass panel. The amount of insertion and the gap of the curtain wall glass on both sides must comply with the relevant design specifications.
III. The injection of glass curtain wall structural sealant and sealing should be full, dense, continuous, even, and bubble-free. The width and thickness of the curtain wall structure should comply with the design and relevant specification requirements. Conduct a water spray test on the parts of the glass curtain wall prone to leakage.
Four, the accessories for glass curtain wall opening windows should be complete and sturdy, with the installation positions and opening directions/angles of the structural components being correct and consistent; once assembled, the windows should open smoothly and close tightly.
Five, the verticality, flatness, and joint quality of glass curtain wall installation shall allow deviations in accordance with design and specification requirements.

Architectural glass curtain walls, as a new type of modern decorative building technology, have gained widespread application due to their lightweight nature and ease of maintenance. For construction projects completed after May 1, 2008, a special inspection institution with qualifications in building curtain wall engineering is required to conduct specialized inspections of the curtain wall. Depending on the specifics of the project, some tests and inspections must be carried out during the project organization process.

Huanggang Facade Four Properties Testing Projects: Wind Resistance, Water Tightness, Air Tightness, and Plane Deformation Performance.
1. Wind Pressure Resistance Test: This refers to the ability of the facade to maintain normal operational functions without any damage under the action of wind loads perpendicular to it.
2. Air Tightness Performance Test: The ability to prevent air from passing through the facade when the opening parts are closed under wind pressure.
3. Watertightness Performance Testing: Watertightness is related to the functionality and lifespan of the facade, which depends on the building's use and the local climate, based on the average wind pressure over 10 minutes.
4. In-plane Deformation Performance Testing: Deformation that occurs due to relative displacement between buildings after they have been subjected to wind loads or seismic actions.
