Biogas Torch Description
Anaerobic fermentation biogas is a byproduct of normal operations in modern wastewater treatment plants, distilleries, and farms. Its main components are 50-65% methane and 30-50% carbon dioxide, along with hundreds of other substances including water vapor, sulfides, and nitrates, with methane being one of the primary greenhouse gases. Biogas not only pollutes the environment but also poses serious safety risks, necessitating centralized treatment of anaerobic biogas.
For facilities or sites with lower gas production, it is common to burn collected biogas through a biogas torch. The biogas torch serves to enhance site safety, boost social recognition, reduce malodorous pollution, and mitigate the greenhouse effect.
Biogas Torch Function
Based on the different actual situations of wastewater treatment plants, alcohol factories, and farms, biogas torches are categorized into four types: CDM torches, enclosed ground torches, semi-enclosed torches, and open torches. The combustion flow range is from 50 m/h to 3000 m/h. Different types of torches offer the following functions:*
