Radiation Food Thermoluminescence Detection X-ray Irradiator

Model: FXRAD 800
Principle:
Irradiated Food: Food treated with ionizing radiation (such as gamma rays, X-rays, or electron beams) to sterilize, kill insects, extend shelf life, or inhibit germination.
Luminescence (TL) Technology: A method for detecting irradiated food, which involves measuring the light signal released when minerals (such as silicates) in the food are heated after irradiation, to determine if the food has been irradiated.
X-ray Irradiator: An alternative to traditional cobalt-60 (gamma rays) irradiation device, producing high-energy X-rays via accelerators, more environmentally friendly and without the need for radioactive sources.
Use: Irradiation treatment: Used for sterilization and preservation of meat, seafood, spices, and fresh fruits and vegetables.
Quality Control: Thermoluminescence technology is utilized for radiation certification of exported food, ensuring compliance with regulations of the EU, the US, and other jurisdictions.
Meets Standards:
International: CODEX STAN 106-1983 (General Standard for Irradiated Foods).
National Standard: GB 23748-2016 National Food Safety Standard for Identification of Irradiated Food - Screening Method
GB 31643-2016 National Food Safety Standard Identification of Irradiated Foods Containing Silicate Radionuclides by Thermoluminescence Method
Product Features:
High safety: The instrument has built-in shielding, ensuring that the radiation dose rate at a distance of 5cm from the surface does not exceed 0.5μSv/h during maximum power operation, significantly exceeding national standards. It also features dual safety interlock, X-ray control and door control mutually restrict each other, and is equipped with an emergency stop button.
Operation Convenient: Features a controllable switch to activate the ray source only when needed, utilizes a large-sized color touch screen and a WINDOWS front-end operating system for ease of use, and supports customized special functions.
Stable Performance: No isotope half-life issues, stable radiation dose, closed-loop cooling system, ensuring instrument dose stability.
Irradiation Precision: Utilizes advanced X-ray tube technology and radiation filtering techniques for precise and controllable dosage.
