Stainless Steel Lined Plastic Storage Tank Process Features: These storage tanks are made by processing with high molecular weight polyethylene (LLDPE) material and steel tank bodies through rotational molding technology. They consist of an outer carbon steel layer, an inner polyethylene plastic layer, and a composite structure with an intermediate shellfish-shaped steel mesh connecting the two layers, making the steel and plastic layers resistant to peeling and separation. They possess the physical properties of high molecular weight polyethylene tanks and the rigidity of steel tanks. The tank's dimensions, interfaces, and manhole positions can be customized according to the customer's process requirements by our company, considering the rotational molding technology and transportation factors.
Steel Lined Plastic Storage Tank Ordering Instructions:
1. The steel-lined plastic storage tank can be used at temperatures typically ranging from 70-80°C, with a maximum operating temperature of up to 90-100°C.
2. Our steel-lined plastic storage tanks currently come in volumes ranging from 1 to 150 cubic meters, subject to road transportation limits. They are available in either vertical or horizontal configurations.
3. The thickness of the outer steel tank body of the steel-lined plastic storage tank can be determined by the specific gravity of the medium contained, with the thickness of the inner plastic (polyethylene) lining generally ranging from 15-18mm.
4. The inner lining of the steel-lined plastic storage tank is made of polyethylene (PE), therefore it is not suitable for storing chemical materials that are incompatible with PE, such as benzene, ethers, ketones, esters, and the like.
The normal service life of our steel-lined plastic storage tanks can extend up to 20 years. Our tanks take into account all the considerations of our customers and can be custom-made largely according to the client's requirements.
