Steel-lined PTFE (Teflon) tanks are made with a metallic substrate (carbon steel, stainless steel) and can be manufactured into composite storage tanks with steel-lined PTFE under advanced technology, including the internal structure of the PTFE composite tank, connections, manholes, and level gauges. This process completely isolates the material from the metallic tank, providing corrosion resistance, insulation, and more. Stable at room temperature and pressure, avoid moisture, heat, and high temperatures. No true melting point; decomposes slowly into gas above 450°C. At 327°C, mechanical strength suddenly disappears. Insoluble in any solvent. In addition to reacting with molten alkali metals, it is not attacked by any substance, and remains unchanged even when boiled in hydrofluoric acid, aqua regia, or fuming sulfuric acid, or sodium hydroxide.

Process for manufacturing steel-lined PTFE storage tanks
1. Extra-large equipment does not require segmentation. Construction can be carried out with a D500mm manhole. The lining thickness is 3mm to 5mm, with a temperature resistance of 190 degrees and wear resistance.
2. Surface grinding (remove sharp corners, inspect for any missing welds or weld seams)
3. High-Temperature Degreasing (completely removes potential impurities and oil from the metal to ensure the adhesive's bonding strength)
4. Sandblasting roughening (using air pressure of not less than 10 Mpa for metal surface sandblasting to achieve optimal adhesion)
5. Apply imported adhesive (evenly, the last step before lining with PTFE board)
6. Fluorine board waxing treatment (apply glue within 10 hours of waxing the fluorine board)
7. Lining Sheets (The lining process must be carried out under high temperatures and is a crucial step for the four-fluorine storage tanks, requiring the expertise of professional personnel.)
8. Four-fluorine plate weld seams welding (The seams are welded together using special tools, with an adhesion level of 99% or higher.)
The steel-lined PTFE storage tank can store highly corrosive liquids such as strong acids, strong bases, mixed acids, organic acids, inorganic acids, etc., and has a higher temperature resistance.
