Coal dust is a major source of dust pollution for coal production enterprises and coal transport trains. Coal transportation is generally carried out in open wagons. During transportation, due to the jarring caused by subgrade, switch tracks, and rail tracks, coupled with the force of wind, especially when the train enters a tunnel, a powerful disturbance airflow is formed instantly. Fine coal dust particles are blown off the train and scattered onto the subgrade, which, after being compacted by subsequent vehicles, leads to coal loss and dust pollution along the sides of the track. Dust pollution is one of the main sources of atmospheric pollution. Its tiny particles float in the air and are difficult to settle, and when inhaled by humans, they severely affect health.
Currently, the common method for controlling coal dust飞扬 is by sprinkling water. The primary function of sprinkling water is to moisten the fine dry coal dust, increasing its relative density and causing it to agglomerate into larger particles that settle, thereby preventing it from飞扬 under external forces.
