Dust can be divided into two categories based on particle size: those with larger diameters are known as settled dust, which is heavy and tends to settle easily, while those with smaller diameters are referred to as suspended dust. Suspended dust remains in the air in an aerosol form for a long time and is invisible to the naked eye. Dust contains various heavy metals, and suspended dust can adsorb a variety of toxic substances, some of which are harmful. These toxic substances-laden suspended dust circulate everywhere, severely polluting the environment on which we depend for survival.

These agents improve the wettability of dust particles, promoting aggregation and settling of fine particles, thereby increasing dust reduction efficiency.
