ExtrusionGlass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) Cable TrayThe production process involves dipping unwound glass fiber and other continuous reinforcing materials, polyester, flame-retardant felt, etc., into a liquid, then shaping them through a cable tray mold, where they are cured and solidified at high temperatures inside the mold before being continuously removed. This glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) cable tray boasts strong corrosion resistance, aging resistance, and is suitable for heavy acids, alkalis, and high humidity conditions. It features a reasonable mechanical structure, high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, flame retardancy, lightweight, and good insulation properties. Its usage range and operating temperature are wide, and its lifespan is 5-6 times that of a steel cable tray. The installation distance of one ton of GRP cable tray is 1.5 times that of a steel tray of the same specification and weight, and its performance-to-price ratio is one-third of steel trays. Therefore, the lightweight and low-cost GRP cable tray can save engineering investment, with simple construction, flexible wiring, standardized installation, and an attractive appearance. Its successful development has opened up a new path for the assembly of cable trays in China.
