Basic Structure and Types
Communication guy wires are typically made of steel or concrete, featuring high mechanical strength and stability. The main types include:
Ceiling Mast: Installed on the exterior of buildings, it secures the relay base station through suspension, reducing signal attenuation and improving heat dissipation efficiency.
Portable Mast: Designed for portability, suitable for temporary or emergency communication situations.
5G Dedicated Tower Bracket: Equipped with adjustable components for stable support of 5G antennas.
Core Features & Installation Specifications
Its core function is to provide a stable support for the antenna, and strict installation specifications must be followed.
Lightning Protection Design: Requires the installation of lightning rods, down conductors, and grounding devices. The grounding resistance is generally required to be ≤10Ω.
Stability Requirement: Form a triangular support structure with guy wires, counterweights, etc., to prevent damage to the building.
Antenna Isolation: Maintain a horizontal distance of approximately 4.5 meters and a vertical distance of about 50 centimeters between antennas to minimize signal interference.
Application Scenarios
Communications guy wires are widely used in:
Base Station Construction: Used for fixed relay base stations to expand signal coverage.
Urban Communication: Installed on rooftops to optimize signal transmission in urban areas.
Emergency Communication: Rapidly deployed to disaster sites to ensure uninterrupted communication.
