Trench InjectorWell-point dewatering involves installing a special device within the well-point pipe.Trench InjectorBy means of a high-pressure water pump or an air compressor, high-pressure water (water jet well-point) or compressed air (air jet well-point) is introduced into the jet through the inner pipe of the well-point tube, forming a water-air jet. This extracts and removes groundwater through the gap between the outer and inner pipes of the well-point.
Advantages of the pit spray jetThis equipment is relatively simple, with a large drainage depth of up to 6-15 meters, requiring less than multi-layer light well-point dewatering systems. It entails reduced excavation volume in the foundation pit, faster construction, and lower costs. This technological standard is applicable to dewatering projects in deep foundation pits (more than 6 meters and less than 15 meters), with soil permeability coefficients ranging from 3 to 50 m/d for sandy soils or from 0.1 to 3 m/d for silty loams, silty sands, clayey silts, and clayey soils.
