I. Principle and Features of Gas-Solid Jet Injector:
Principle:
Gas-solid jet injector, powered by a centrifugal blower (air compressor, Roots blower) as the gas source, utilizes the principle of gas-solid two-phase flow. By combining fluidization technology, jet technology, and pressure difference principle, it employs an electrically powered rotary feeder as the feeding device to deliver materials into the material-gas mixing chamber. As the materials are fluidized in the mixing chamber, a high-speed gas stream generated by the double annular nozzle is used to propel the materials into an acceleration chamber. The materials enter the conveying pipeline as a suspended flow and are transported along the pipeline using the gas pressure difference into the receiving silo. Material-gas separation occurs, and after passing through a bag dust collector, the gas is released into the atmosphere.

A low-pressure continuous conveying system composed of lime hydrate gas-solid jet nozzles not only reflects its cost-effectiveness in terms of construction investment but also boasts low operating costs. Due to the absence of in/out material and exhaust valves, as well as lack of wearing parts, the operating expenses are minimized. Additionally, using low-pressure conveying saves approximately 30% of energy compared to air compressor systems.
2. User-friendly
The equipment's body control is only electrically operated by the feeding and air intake valves. Therefore, the body control requires only "start" or "shutdown" operations, and the equipment operation only needs monitoring without the need for manual attendance. Due to the simplicity of the continuous pump process system, the configured control system is also relatively simple. Based on the system configuration, even if a PLC control system is used, in the event of a fault, an alarm system is in place, and manual control is also possible without affecting the normal operation of the system.
3. Low equipment and pipeline wear, with extended service life
Due to the use of low-pressure conveying, the flow velocity within the equipment and ash conveying pipes is low, resulting in a constant concentration of material. Consequently, the system's equipment and pipelines experience minimal wear and have a long service life.
4. System deployment is convenient and flexible.
Due to its compact size and low installation height, this equipment is convenient and flexible for system layout, fully meeting the engineering requirements.
5. Quality requirements for the gas source are not stringent.
Continuous pump-powered air sources typically use centrifugal fans or Roots blowers and compressors, without the need for an air purification system. The system design only requires specific air volume and pressure. In some cases, compressed air from a pressure station can also be used.
6. High system reliability
① The lime gas solid jetting unit is powered by centrifugal blowers or Roots blowers and compressors, with the high performance of the blowers ensuring the reliability of the system's operation.
② An air-transportation system composed of lime powder gas-solid injectors, under the condition that the on-site ash quantity allows, can adopt a layout where two ash hoppers share one pump. Generally, the number of equipment is reduced, making the entire system simple and reliable.
③ The lime hydrate gas-solid jet injector maintains a stable gas-to-solid ratio, with no impact load and no frequent valve operation as in conventional gas conveying processes, significantly reducing the equipment failure rate.
