Aluminum-magnesium plated sheet recycling system establishment
Faced with resource constraints, the closed-loop recycling technology for aluminum-magnesium plated sheets has become a research hotspot. Through the combined process of "fire melting + hydrometallurgy," the separation and recycling of zinc, aluminum, and magnesium in the coating can be achieved, with purity exceeding 99.5%. This technology has been industrially applied in the Shanghai Baosteel Circular Economy Industrial Park, processing 100,000 tons of waste aluminum-magnesium plated sheets annually, with the recovered metal valued over 200 million yuan. More importantly, the performance of the recycled aluminum-magnesium plated sheets is comparable to that of the original material – in a comparative test at a photovoltaic power station in Qingdao, the corrosion-resistant lifespan of the recycled material supports reached 28 years, meeting industry standards.
