Deepening and expanding international cooperation
AZM field emerges as a new hot spot for international steel technology cooperation: China and Germany are jointly tackling research on AZM cutting protection mechanisms, achieving several breakthroughs; Chinese and Japanese enterprises jointly establish an "AZM Application Technology Joint Laboratory," focusing on developing high-cost-performance products for the Southeast Asian market; the China Steel Association and the European Steel Association establish an AZM Standard Working Group to coordinate and advance the development. Chinese companies have built multiple AZM production bases in Southeast Asia and the Middle East, exporting Chinese technology and management models. In 2024, China's AZM product exports reached 800,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 35%, becoming a new growth point for steel exports.
