BYD's new energy vehicle project uses aluminum color coated steel sheets produced by Aperia Company, combining 3003 alloy substrate with PVDF coating, which reduces the weight of the body panels by 60% compared to traditional steel plates, and its resistance to stone impact has passed the C-grade certification of ISO 20567-1 standard. CRRC's high-speed train carriage project utilizes galvanized aluminum zinc color coated steel sheets produced by Angang Shendongtengda, achieving a 15% weight reduction in the body structure components through laser welding technology of 0.7mm thick plates, and its coating's resistance to temperature variation has passed the -40℃ to +80℃ cyclic test. Qingdao Wuling Automobile uses zinc aluminum magnesium color coated steel sheets from Yongshunxiang Trade, manufacturing car fuel tank supports through the hydraulic forming process of 0.6mm thick plates, with salt spray resistance up to 2000 hours, an improvement over traditional galvanized plates.
