Substrate Selection and Performance Matching Strategy
Base material selection directly impacts the comprehensive performance of color coated steel plates. Hot-dip galvanized base plates (GI) are cost-effective, with zinc coating thickness typically ranging between -275g/m², suitable for dry inland environments. For example, Shanxi Jinyang Group's factory uses hot-dip galvanized color coated steel plates with a zinc coating of g/m², which have a lifespan of 15 years under an average annual rainfall of 400mm. Aluminum-zinc alloy coated base plates (GL) are coated with an alloy consisting of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon, forming a dense aluminum oxide protective film. Their corrosion resistance is 2-6 times that of hot-dip galvanized plates. The Hainan photovoltaic power station project uses 150g/m² aluminum-zinc alloy coated base plates, combined with a white reflective coating, reducing the component operating temperature by 15℃ and increasing power generation efficiency by 3.2%. Zinc-aluminum-magnesium base plates (ZAM) are a new generation of corrosion-resistant materials, containing 1.5%-3% magnesium, which can form an magnesium oxide protective layer at scratch areas. The Qingdao Oceanarium project uses 100g/m² zinc-aluminum-magnesium base plates, showing no red rust after 10 years of use in the sea spray zone, exceeding the 1000-hour salt mist resistance requirement of JIS G 3322 standard.
