As the large gear ring of the rotary kiln operates for a certain period, some components will experience varying degrees of wear. It is essential to conduct timely inspections and maintenance to prevent any impact on the normal operation of the equipment.
Replacement Method and Techniques for Large齿圈
Determine the availability of the rotary kiln large gear ring and spring plate.
Attach a dial indicator to the bottom of the sprocket ring on the rotary kiln, slow down the kiln rotation, and select the sprocket ring onMeasure the radial and tangential runout of the large sprocket at 8 points to determine if it is deformed. Also, measure the distance between two adjacent holes on the large sprocket, which indirectly reflects the wear on the bolt holes, to ascertain the usability of the spring plate.


Remove the large gear ring of the rotary kiln.
When a semi-circle of the large gear ring is directly above, remove the small gear shaft, disconnect the large gear ring from the original drive, mark it, and then remove the bolts. Use a winch to rotate the kiln body and remove the other half of the large gear ring. If the rotary kiln is flipped over immediately after removing the semi-circle, but the pin is difficult to remove as a whole, the large gear ring must be placed on the ground. At the same time, the rotary kiln must prevent the spring plate from being compressed and deformed during the disassembly and assembly of the large gear ring.
Three: Install the large gear ring for the rotary kiln.
After cleaning oil stains and smoothing out burrs and protrusions on the teeth, install the large gear ring onto the upper part of the cylinder using a crane. Connect it with bolts to the spring plate, and use welding square steel, adjusting bolts, and other alignment tools to install the other half of the kiln. A total of six square steel pieces are welded at the upright positions of the gear ring.
