I. Overview

PPC Dust Collector Pulse Jet Bag FilterCombining the advantages of pulse-jet and reverse-jet dust collectors, it overcomes the drawback of insufficient kinetic energy during compartment reverse-jet operation. This expands the application range of bag dust collectors, enhances dust removal efficiency, and prolongs the service life of filter bags. It not only purifies general dusty gases but also handles high-concentration gases with an inlet concentration of up to 1300/m3n, becoming a finished product recovery equipment for use with O-Sepa-type classifiers and vertical mills. It is widely used in the cement industry, as well as in the power, chemical, metallurgical, and steel industries.

Section II: Working Principle
The PPC pulse bag dust collector body is divided into several compartments, each containing 32, 64, 96, 128 bags, etc. Each compartment has a lifting valve actuated by a cylinder on the side outlet pipe. After the dust collector filters dusty gas for a certain period of time (or the resistance reaches a pre-set value), the cleaning controller sends a signal. The lifting valve in the compartment starts to close to cut off the filtered air flow. Then, the pulse valve of this compartment opens, injecting compressed air at a pressure greater than 5 kg/cm² into the clean air chamber to clean the dust on the filter bags. After this action is completed (approximately 6-15 seconds), the lifting valve reopens, allowing the compartment to resume filtering and proceed sequentially until all cleaning is complete. The pulse bag dust collector utilizes compartmentalized cleaning, isolating and alternating cleaning one compartment at a time. The width of the pulse jet and the cleaning cycle in each dust collection chamber are automatically and continuously controlled by the cleaning program controller, thus enhancing the effect of compressed air cleaning. The entire body design utilizes imported and outlet header structures, with the ash hopper extending below the inlet header. This allows the incoming dusty gas to directly enter the expanded ash hopper, achieving the desired collection effect and eliminating the possibility of clogging in horizontal straight pipes. Therefore, the pulse bag dust collector can not only handle general concentrations of dusty gas but also high concentrations up to 1300 mg/m³n. With the use of a full compartment large pulse valve of 2.5 inches (inches) reverse jet cleaning, during bag change, simply open the top cover and directly remove the filter bag, making maintenance simple and convenient.
Section 3: Selection
(1) The main technical parameters for dust collector selection are air volume, gas temperature, dust concentration, and humidity. Based on the values of air volume, gas temperature, and dust concentration in the process design, select a dust collector model that is slightly less than the values in the technical performance table. The corresponding dust collector model is the required one. The filter material is determined according to the inlet concentration, gas temperature, and moisture content. (2) The gas consumption listed in the table is for centralized gas supply in the factory. If an air compressor is used separately, the gas consumption in the table should be increased by 1.3 times.
(3) The proposed gas consumption in the Compressed Air Consumption column refers to the gas consumption of the equipment of this model.
(4) For concentrations <100g/m³, select the air volume from row B in the table.
(5) In the PPW128 series, the dust collector hopper discharge system can be set according to process requirements, such as using air conveying chutes, etc. The spiral conveyor is used in this diagram.
