Epoxy floor paint

Composition   This product is a two-component self-curing paint composed of epoxy floor resin as the base material, along with pigments, additives, fillers, solvents, and other ingredients.

Performance   This paint boasts excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, and chemical corrosion, with superior chemical properties such as water, oil, and chemical-resistant corrosion resistance. It exhibits good corrosion resistance against moisture, salt spray, oils, and organic solvents. It has good adhesion, high mechanical strength, low paint film shrinkage after curing, and the ability to be coated as a thick film in a single application.

Usage   Highly clean, aesthetically pleasing, dust-free, and sterile environments for electronics and microelectronics industries, pharmaceutical and blood product sectors adhering to GMP standards, and other industries requiring wear resistance, pressure resistance, shock resistance, and chemical corrosion resistance. Also suitable for floors in schools, offices, and homes, particularly for pharmaceuticals, food, electronics, and precision instruments industries, featuring glossy, flat, and attractive surfaces with excellent chemical resistance.

Construction Method

1. Base Material Treatment

Completely remove surface debris, oil stains, and standing water, and ensure wet areas are dried. Achieve a dust-free, water-free, and oil-free condition for application.

2. Mixed

Priced by weight ratio (as indicated on the product packaging)

While mixing, slowly pour the hardener into the main agent while continuously stirring to ensure thorough and even mixing.

After the mixed paint has matured (at 23±2℃) for 30 minutes, filter it through a 60-80 mesh screen and pour it into another container for later use.

The mixed paint has a shelf life of 3 hours; please schedule its use according to the progress of the application.

3. Construction Conditions

The painting operation should be conducted as soon as possible after the substrate treatment, generally not exceeding 6 hours. The surface temperature of the substrate and the ambient temperature should generally not be lower than 10°C, with the surface temperature at least 5°C higher than the dew point, and the relative humidity of the air should not exceed 75%.

4. Coating Methods

This paint can be applied using brush painting, airless spraying, and air-assisted spraying methods.

5. Dilute

Generally, paints require a compatible thinner to adjust viscosity and clean tools.

6. Coating Spacing

Coating interval times are as follows:

At an ambient temperature of 25°C, the construction should reach full dryness within 2-3 days post-application, which is approximately 80% hardness for complete curing.

24 hours after completion, it is ready for use (for walking only).

Curing time for the lacquer film is 7 days (no cleaning with water or other chemicals is allowed within the first 7 days).
