Construction Method
Material Treatment
The coated PP surface must be thoroughly cleaned of oil stains, loose dust, old coatings, etc.
2. Construction Conditions
The coating operation should be carried out as soon as possible after the substrate treatment, generally not exceeding 6 hours. The surface temperature of the substrate and the ambient temperature should generally not be below 10°C, with the surface temperature at least 5°C higher than the dew point, and the relative humidity of the air should not exceed 75%.
3. Coating Methods
This paint can be applied using brush painting, airless spraying, and air-assisted spraying methods. It is recommended to have a single coat thickness of 10-15 micrometers; applying too thick a single coat may affect the drying time of the coating.
5. Dilute
Generally, paints require a compatible thinner to adjust viscosity and clean tools. For spraying, a recommended ratio is 80-100%, while for rolling or brushing, the amount of thinner can be reduced.
6. Coating Spacing
Paint can be dried at 80℃ for 30 minutes before proceeding to subsequent coating.
Room temperature self-drying coating interval time as follows:
