Lightweight foamed concrete is a cement-based slurry. Its main characteristics and advantages are as follows:
Lightweight: Due to its high foam content, lightweight foam concrete has a low density and weight, making it easy to transport and install.
Thermal Insulation: With a low thermal conductivity and high thermal resistance, it effectively isolates external temperature fluctuations, maintaining a constant indoor temperature. Foam concrete, typically with a density range of 300 to 1200 kg/m³, has a thermal conductivity between 0.08 and 0.32, and a thermal resistance about ten to twenty times that of ordinary concrete.
Soundproof and Fireproof: An inorganic soundproofing material that does not burn, offering excellent fire resistance. It effectively prevents the spread of flames and the escalation of fires, enhancing the fire safety of buildings.
Waterproof Durability: Low water absorption rate, relatively independent sealed bubbles, and good overall integrity provide excellent waterproof and durable properties.
Pressure and shock resistance: Containing a large number of independently sealed bubbles and fine pores, it offers certain shock resistance and high bearing capacity, demonstrating excellent pressure and shock resistance properties.
Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency: No harmful gases or waste are emitted during production and use, and the products are recyclable, in line with the concept of green buildings.
