During the laying of hot asphalt mixtures, the top layer's high-strength, heat-resistant fabric does not deform at high temperatures, ensuring the formation of a locally strong asphalt mixture layer; the top coating polymer melts and渗出 from the fabric's seams, forming a strong bond with the asphalt mixture; the bottom coating has an adequate amount of polymer that fills in the base surface's depressions after melting, enhancing the bond with the base; the stability of the bottom coating and the substrate ensures the formation of a relatively even composite layer, meeting the requirements for crack prevention and waterproofing.
Reinforcement Effect: The high-strength, high-temperature-resistant fabric on the surface of the crack-bridging tape boasts excellent tensile strength, effectively resisting tensile stresses at interlayer cracks, limiting the expansion of crack widths, and thus serving as a reinforcing agent, enhancing the tensile strength of the local structural layer of the asphalt pavement.
Energy dissipation buffering: The polymer in the anti-crack tape is a material with certain viscoelastic properties and good low-temperature flexibility. Laid between asphalt pavement layers, it acts as a composite layer with good viscoelasticity even at low temperatures. The tensile stress at the crack is extended through the good viscoelastic composite layer and gradually attenuates to a wider range, effectively absorbing tensile energy.
Waterproof and Anti-seepage Function: The crack-bridging tape is laid on the surface of the interlayer cracks, forming a complete waterproof and anti-seepage layer, which can intercept the infiltration path of rain and snowwater, thereby reducing water damage to the road surface.
Self-adhesive Performance: This product features self-adhesiveness, making installation convenient. After removing the protective film, it can be directly bonded to the crack area. Once firmly pressed with a small compaction device, the bond with the pavement becomes even stronger, with no displacement, and meets the construction requirements for laying upper asphalt mixtures.
