Pumps are equipped with a dry-run protection system to safeguard the impeller from causing damage to the mechanical seal, impeller, and pump chamber when rotating at high speed without liquid in the pump cavity; (Certificate of intellectual property rights for a non-rotating impeller base is provided to prove this)
