Ducted electric heater
An Overview of Duct-Type Electric Heaters:
Duct heaters are primarily used for heating air within ducts, available in three temperature ranges: low, medium, and high. Their common structural feature is the use of steel plates to support the electric heating elements to reduce vibration. All junction boxes are equipped with over-temperature control devices. Additionally, for convenience in control, it is necessary to install an interlock device between the fan and the heater, ensuring that the electric heater starts after the fan. A differential pressure device should be added before and after the heater to prevent fan failure. The pressure of the gas heated by the duct heater should generally not exceed 0.3 Kg/cm2. If the pressure exceeds this specification, please choose a circulation electric heater. The high temperature for low-temperature models should not exceed 160℃; for medium-temperature models, not exceed 260℃; and for high-temperature models, not exceed 500℃.
Section II: Applications of Duct-Type Electric Heaters:
Duct-type electric heaters are primarily used to heat the required air flow from an initial temperature to the desired air temperature and have been widely applied in aerospace, weaponry industry, chemical industry, and many scientific research and production laboratories in colleges and universities. They are particularly suitable for automatic temperature control and high-flow, high-temperature combined systems and component testing. The air electric heaters have a broad range of applications: they can heat any gas, produce dry hot air that is moisture-free, non-conductive, non-flammable, non-explosive, non-corrosive, non-polluting, safe and reliable, and quickly heat the space being heated (可控).
3. Technical Features of Duct-Type Electric Heater:
1. Capable of heating air to very high temperatures, up to 450°C, with the housing temperature around 50°C.
2. High efficiency: Over 0.9.
3. Rapid heating and cooling rates up to 10°C/s, with quick and stable adjustments. No temperature control drift due to air temperature overshooting or lagging, ideal for automatic control.
4. Excellent mechanical properties: Due to its heating element being made of a special alloy material, it outperforms any heating element in terms of mechanical properties and strength under the impact of high-pressure air flow. This is particularly advantageous for systems and accessories that require continuous and uninterrupted air heating over extended periods.
5. Durable and long-lasting, with a lifespan of several decades when used in accordance with the operating instructions.
6. Clean air, compact in size.
7. Custom designs of various types of air electric heaters are available according to customer needs.
