Chain Sprocket Manufacturer

The lifespan of the sprocket is relatively short, far from meeting the requirements of production practice. Based on the usage condition, processing status, and manufacturing technology of the sprocket, some improvement measures have been proposed:
(1) The original sprocket design material is 40Cr, with an overall quenching hardness of HB220~250 and tooth hardening of HRC48~52. This method, due to the limited hardness of the tooth hardening, cannot significantly improve the wear resistance of the sprocket. It is recommended to change the sprocket material to 20CrMnTi, with carburizing and quenching treatment, which can achieve a hardness of HRC60 or more in the chain holes. Its wear resistance is over 2.5 times that of 40Cr material. This can greatly extend the service life of the sprocket, reduce the frequency of machine repairs, increase production efficiency, and lower production costs.
(2) The original chain wheel chain groove is forged directly, resulting in large dimensional tolerances, rough surfaces, and reduced wear resistance. With the widespread use of CNC machine tools and the decrease in processing costs, it is recommended to leave a small amount of allowance after forging and finish the work with CNC milling to improve dimensional accuracy and surface roughness, thereby enhancing wear resistance.
