Swivel ball valve
The ball valve primarily functions to seal effectively under both forward and reverse pressures, even when reverse pressure exceeds forward pressure. When forward pressure is applied, the medium pressure pushes the valve plate forward, with the sealing surface of the valve plate tightly contacting the sealing surface of the valve seat to transfer pressure, pushing the valve seat against the step of the valve body for a good seal. When reverse pressure is applied, the medium pressure pushes the valve plate backward, simultaneously pushing the valve seat backward. The sealing surface of the valve seat tightly contacts the sealing surface of the valve plate to transfer pressure, ensuring a good seal.
Structural Features
1. Equipped with an oblique elliptical butterfly plate radial dynamic balance sealing system, the valve's inlet and outlet sides experience nearly balanced forces, resulting in a low torque required for opening. The sealing performance in both directions is reliable, enabling bidirectional pressure resistance.
2. The valve sealing surface is fitted with an integral metal sealing ring, precision-machined to ensure a perfect seal. The sealing cross-section is elliptical, forming a sealing pair with the valve seat metal sealing surface. During the opening and closing of the valve, the butterfly plate sealing surface makes instantaneous contact or separation at each point along the 360° circumference, enabling a quick and accurate opening or closing action.
3. Employed a three-eccentric structure, which is an addition of an angular eccentricity to the double eccentric butterfly valve.
